Meet Our Team
Meet Our Owners — Gary & Jenny Hymer
Gary Hymer
Gary
has always had a passion for everything mechanical and automotive. After completing the General Motors Automotive Service Program in Denver, CO, he spent his early years working at a dealership and repairing cars in his home shop. With a growing passion for personal customer service and an already strong desire to provide automotive care, Gary opened High-Tech Automotive in July of 2004.
Outside of High-Tech Automotive, Gary loves spending time outdoors and is a volunteer for Chelan County’s Search & Rescue’s (CCSAR) ORV team. Basically, his hobbies are things that have to do with motors. Seriously – he’s even trying to find a way to put a motor on his wife’s paddle board (even though she says it defeats the purpose). Whether it is doing CCSAR activities or spending time with Jenny and family, you can find Gary in the back country enjoying snow/dirt or playing on the waters of this great Valley.

Jenny Hymer
Jenny
- Her favorite part of High-Tech Automotive is the team. They have a passion for providing quality automotive care that is unlike anywhere else out there. They never forget that a person is behind that vehicle they are working on and treat each and every vehicle as their own. That being said, she doesn’t work ON the vehicles (thank goodness!) but she does love the automotive business. Jenny’s hobbies include anything outside, but unlike Gary, she is not mechanically inclined and loves anything powered by muscle and lung power. You can find Jenny & Moto outside hiking, paddleboarding, snowshoeing, or whatever Mother Nature is up to at the moment. Please feel free to come by any time to say hi!
Moto
Hi, I’m Moto Hymer
! As Director of Happiness, I focus my daily activities around reminding everyone not to take themselves too seriously and that when things get busy and the Teams’ minds are starting to seize-up, the best thing they can do is to play…with me. In fact, the reason you all get such good service is because I am here working so hard to keep the team smiling. My whole purpose in life and at High-Tech is to remind everyone of the value of a hug (or a pet), a smile, and a bit of play time.
Chuck
Please meet Chuck
! Chuck is our shop manager, one of our service advisors and has worked for High-Tech since we opened back in 2004. Chuck has always worked in the automotive world so it’s safe to say, he KNOWS vehicle repair. He is ASE Master Certified which makes it easier when it comes to him understanding your needs for your vehicle but also, as a family man, he also understands your busy daily life. Chuck enjoys working for High-Tech because it is a family atmosphere – for customers & employees alike! Chuck loves spending time with his wife and kids. When they’re not doing projects around the house, they love camping, boating and hiking. Chuck and his wife also love to hit the open road on their motorcycles. One thing you should know about Chuck is that he has the most eclectic taste in music. He enjoys everything from Metallica to Taylor Swift and everything in between! We could go on and on about Chuck, but when you come in, you will be happier for just having had the opportunity to meet him.
Chelsea
Chelsea
- You must come in and meet Chelsea face to face. She is one of our service advisors and, being the only female at the front counter, she is brave, oh so smart, witty, and just a little competitive. She loves working at High-Tech because of the family atmosphere, our great customers, and the challenging nature of the business. Chelsea will make sure you understand everything when it comes to making sure your vehicle is safe and running perfectly. Outside of High-Tech, on most days you can find Chelsea running her kids to & from sporting events, the races, and camping on the weekends. She simply loves anything outdoors and being active with her family. Come in and meet Chelsea – we promise she will make you smile!
Jacob
Jacob
has been an awesome addition to our High-Tech team! Jacob has called the Valley home his entire life - hiking, skiing, and hanging with his older brother & family. He feels right at home here at High Tech, kind of like a younger brother to our team (yep, he gained several older siblings when he joined our team). As one of our service advisors, you can be assured that Jacob’s ability to listen for each and every detail of your vehicle’s concerns will help get you back on the road and keep your vehicle running for thousands of miles to come. Fun fact about Jacob: his knowledge of trivia is amazing. Come in and ask him about most anything, you will be amazed! You’ll automatically feel like you have a new best friend when you meet Jacob.
Shane
Shane
brings to our High-Tech family a tenacity for car repair, smooth shop operations, and a value for teamwork that up-levels our team daily. Shane brings humor and lightheartedness to High Tech. (We asked him to tell us one funny thing his family would say about him, his answer? “His face.” Oh, Shane!) Shane appreciates High-Tech’s family-first attitude along with our advanced technology (including air conditioning). His favorite part of his day is ‘Moto-breaks’ with our resident ‘Director of Happiness’ (see below). At home, he loves to hang out with his wife, Maegan, and his pup, Lena. His other hobbies are Harleys, cooking, gardening, swimming, skateboarding, and video games. Come meet Shane, we promise he will make you smile!
Jordan
Jordan
is ‘that guy’ here at High-Tech. He keeps us all on task by making sure everything is organized and our operations running smoothly. Everything from doing quality control checks so your vehicle is perfect to helping diagnose those weird noises our vehicles make, Jordan is ‘that guy’. He truly helps out every single team member here at High-Tech. Including Moto! He & Moto start their day with a Moto hug and then it is full steam ahead. Jordan is an aspiring technician with the hopes of one day owning his own shop – so we are eager to help him learn the ropes! Jordan’s favorite part about High-Tech is the comradery and friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. When he isn’t working, you will find Jordan helping out family, friends, and his church. If you are in need of a genuine smile to get your day going, come by and say hi to Jordan.
